Dublin Hotel in October ....rates ?
 

I'm currently searching for a hotel in Dublin. Don't necessarily need to be in Temple Bar area as we both enjoy walking and exploring the outskirts of cities we visit. I'm noting hotel rates appear to go up in the month of October when I'm traveling. Is this common? I am currently looking at the Clayton Hotel Charlemont. The current going rate for today (Wednesday) is $161. That rate appears to have dropped from the other day, but I sense it might be going up again. I've seen the hotel rate as high as $240 on other days. This is like playing the stock market :-) Should I select my hotel now or will the hotel rates in Dublin drop a bit more as we get closer or into October? I'm traveling from October 15 to the 26th.
