Dublin hotel for family group?
Anyone know of a Dublin hotel (preferably in the city center) with rooms for 4 - 3 s and 1 child?
According to Expedia, Best Western Ashling - across the street from the Guiness Brewery - has a family room but I'm not sure if the location is OK. There's also Christchurch Hall apartments next to Christchurch Cathedral. Better Location?
Also, I could spend my Starwood points and stay at the Westin but I'd need two rooms for two nights and only have points for 3 - not 4 - so we'd be paying for one.
Any other suggestions? advice?
Thanks!
Deb

I had reservations at Jury's Christchurch. Their website says the capacity of each room is 3 people. There were 4 of us and when I asked about a cot, they said we would need 2 rooms. Don't know if it would be different with a child. Other Jury's hotels in Dublin do have rooms for 4, but Christchurch is the best location.

I had tried Jury's Inn Christchurch. The can accomodate 3 adults OR 2 adults and 2 children but NOT 3 adults and 1 child. I believe I've found something that will work, however. Molesworth Court has 2br apartments that sound perfect. MC is highly regarded on Trip Advisor so we're giving it a shot.
Thanks for the ideas.

Debrown - That is an excellent location and you are in the heart of things but the street is quiet. There is a lovely italian place called Dunne and Crescrenzi on S. Frederick street in the area and great for lunch coffee or a light snack.

We stayed in the Harcourt Hotel. Walking distance to St. Stephens Green, about 20 minutes walk to Temple Bar. The rates were reasonable, and we did find a family room that fit the four of us. You can find it on some of the cheap hotel sites. It's safe, fairly cheap, and has a decent pub downstairs. Try to book a room in the back of the hotel, if possible, to avoid the street noise.
