Dublin hotel for 2 adults and 2 small kids
I will likely be spending one night in Dublin next summer before traveling down to Kerry. Any recommendations for a hotel that can fit 2 adults and a 4 and 1 year old in a single room. I know the Four Seasons can, but have no experience with other large rooms in the city.
Thanks |
We got a quad at Fitzwilliam Guest House, with our two teenage daughters.
With children that small, it shouldn't be a problem getting a cot and/or crib in a triple room at lots of places. |
Have you considered a B&B. I have stayed in Clontarf which is less than 15mins from city centre by bus that runs every 10mins. The one I had previously used was full - Robbie Williams concert - but they recommended another for me. The 4 of us were able to stay in 1 room - self, wife, daughter 14 & son 4. Sanctuary Cove was where I stayed. Alternatively you could head out to Howth or Malahide by train.

Thanks for the replies so far.
I Like B and B's, but not with the young kids. I prefer a full service hotel that can get me anything I need while traveling with them. Since we will be in town for less than 24 hours I want to stay downtown with minimum travel once at the hotel. I like the four seasons, but it is a 10 minute taxi ride to Trinity. I like the Westin and the Clarence, but they can't fit us all in one room. Any suggestions along these lines? |
I liked Brooks Hotel on Drury Street. It is walking distance to Trinity College and Grafton Street. Very lovely interior, but less expensive than a Four Seasons. See their website at www.brookshotel.ie. Enjoy.
