Dublin budget B&Bs
 

Hello! My husband and I will be spending 3 nights in Dublin in April, and are looking for a centrally located B&B for around $100 per night total.

So far, these two have responded in our price range and with availability:

Charles Stewart Guesthouse
ABC Guesthouse

Does anyone have opinions or recent experiences with the above places? Any other suggestions would be welcome as well.

I've also heard back from The Anchor Guesthouse, which is available. It's a bit more expensive than the other two, but still within range. I'd love to hear opinions on that one as well.

Note; When you are looking for a b&b near central Dublin watch the address. The lower the number i.e. Dublin 1 the nearer it is to the center of the city, - Dublin 14 would be far out etc.

The would say No to the Anchor as they street I do not like at night. Even ,more so for the Charles Stewart. This is in a busy very city area that may not be the best at night.

I do live here and often walk by both streets but I never reccommend either area.

The ABC looks nice and Drumcondra is a 10-15 minute bus ride in and out so it may not be bad. The area is safe and there are few ppubs and restaurants for the evenings I can tell you if you decide to go there. I wold feel more comfortable in ABC than the other two area.

The anchor is on a street with lots of Cheaper B&B's and Hostels it is a bitt downmarket especially in the evenings.

I agree with Siobhan, I wouldnt stay in Parnell Street, its too dodgy at night, I wouldnt even feel at ease there in the day time, The ABC is a nice option.

The ABC Guesthouse has offered us a fantastic rate- 70E per night, total. I'd really like to be located on the south side of the river, close to everything- but I'm just not sure I can pass up such a great rate!

Does anyone have any suggestions for very centrally located B&Bs, under $100 per night? (A long shot, I know!)
