Dublin and Isle of Skye ... what else in 10 days

Jump to last reply

In beginning stages of planning a trip to Ireland with a hop over to Isle of Skye for 2-3 nights. Thinking Dubin for at least 2 nights, but that will be enough city. Would like to find an interim base more in the country, perhaps by the sea, where we can explore. Interests are photography, nature, scenery, "real" Ireland ... pubs, villages, etc. Also interested in how others would schedule in terms of order of visits and nights in each place. We want to see a bit of Scotland while we are there and Isle of Skye sounds beautiful. Perhaps it makes sense to do that at the end and then fly home from one of the Scottish airports? Thanks for any and all help. This is going to be summer of 2014 so we have some time. I will file a trip report for sure.
