Dublin - Airport 16A bus

We just booked Cassidys Hotel (O'Connell & Parnell St) would anyone have idea if it's much of a walk from the Airport 16A bus stop on O'Connell to the hotel.

Also, what about luggage on 16A bus is there room for it on the bus?

I'm pretty sure that Aircoach stops pretty close to that and they load and unload your luggage. Much easier I would think and not much more money. It would be one of the first two stops.

I can't comment on the hotel location per se but I found that area to be pretty compact.

My recollection is that the luggage was stowed under the bus. Enjoy your stay!

Are you sure you want the 16A? Do a Google search on Dublin+Airlink and you may find the 747 to be better. It has a stop at Parnell Sq. West. It also runs much more frequently than the 16A.

The Double-deckers (i.e., Dublin Bus 747) have a luggage rack on the lower level.

In most cases I have found that the driver will stop to let you off if you just tell him where you are going.

Thank you. I'll look into the #747 and ask before we get on if he would drop us at the hotel.
