Dublin accomodations

I will be travelling solo to Dublin and I am looking at accommodation as central as possible. I would like to spend approx. 100-150 per night (US). Thanks for any suggestions.

We are going in April. Staying at Buswells near St. Stephens Green. Check out their webite for deals. If going after May can let you know.

You can't get much more central than Trinity Lodge - www.trinitylodge.com - we often book clients in there. If you're travelling in summertime you could consider staying in Trinity College - www.tcd.ie/accommodation/Visitors/. Brooks Hotel is popular, with a great location but it might be a bit pricey for you www.brookshotel.ie . Another suggestion could be the Radisson Blu on Golden Lane - www.radissonblu.ie/royalhotel-dublin - but again, price might be an issue.

Buswell's is a good choice. It's right across from the Dáil so it can be a hotbed of political gossip and intrigue. It's quite old-fashioned but that may appeal to you.

Finally, if you're on a budget, Jurys Inn at Christchurch is a good option. However, they do tend to get the stag party brigade because it's so close to Temple Bar.

Stayed at Buswells and there were lots of political goings on in the lobby and bar which made for a fun stay. Good location, convenient.

We stayed at Buswells and like it and loved the location. I was surprise to read an article in our Sunday travel section where Rick Steves recommended it also.
