Driving Times in Italy - Know a good website?

I'm trying to figure out how long it will take to drive from Venice to Perugia.

I'd like to drive from the airport to an Umbrian rental house, stopping in Ravenna en route.

Does anyone know of a website that would help me calculate this?

www.mapquest.com is one of the easiest to use and I find it very accurate. If anything they estimate a little more time than you usually need, but I generally agree with their routes and mileage.
Go to the site. Click "driving directions" then click "Europe". Enter the cities and countries. You can even enter an address if you have it for more detailed information.

Hi

You can also try www.viamichelin.com

Thanks, Patrick. That site is terrific -- it did the calculations so fast.

The drive will definitely be possible, I can see; thanks so much for your help.

Or www.mappy.com -- I find it the best if you want to cut and paste maps togethr to make a scrapbook map, for example. The maps line up and paste together perfectly.

Best wishes,

Rex

(Thanks also, Ira. I saw Patrick's response before I saw yours....) What a helpful bunch you all are!

It would be nice if we could edit our posts just after we send 'em; it feels strange to keep popping in to convey my thanks to each of you!

But I am grateful; these map sites are so helpful -- as are posters like you.

Hey, no big deal - - it's a living, breathing, dynamic thing here...

Collectively, I'll say it for myself and the "other two musketeers" (as if there are only three of "us")... you're welcome.

Hi Phyllis,

You can edit your post, click "preview".

Also, monitor your thread for an hour or two before responding.

As Rex said, "you're welcome".

I think she meant 5 minutes afetr the fact. It's just no big deal to "amend" or "edit" by coming along 5 minutes... or 5 DAYS later...

There's a great mileage chart at www.ancoraitalia.com/links/driving-distances.pdf -- it doesn't show maps, just a really helpful driving distance chart.

Thanks for the link. Actually, it's an underscore instead of a dash between driving_distances.
