Driving time from Hvar to Sucuraj
 

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to drive across Hvar island from the City of Hvar to Sucuraj harbor mid-week? Mappy and Michelin estimate it at 1 hr. 45 min. But I have read by some it has taken them 4 hours. I would greatly appreciate your experience.

It took me two hours, but at that time there was construction on the road and that construction is finished. Usually I think it takes 1.5 hours. Four hours? I can't imagine how, unless you get behind a REALLY slow truck.

Just take your time, the road has improved alot since I used it for the first time in 1999 when it was a death trap.
