www.viamichelin.com and www.mappy.com are both good sites to use

This website is a handy tool for driving distances in Ireland. Just add a little bit of time for traffic.

1. Calculate the mileage.
2. Figure how long it would take you in the U.S. (non-expressway driving)
3. Multiply that by 1.5.

That should give you a ballpark estimate.

I'd agree with NEDSIRELAND except I'd multiply by 5.1 instead of 1.5. We took it all very slowly and were glad we did.

Sorry to disagree with the two caculations above. I have been to Ireland many dozens of times. Divide the mileage by 35 and that will give you a rough estimate of driving time. You must also account for traffic, getting lost, etc. In many decades of driving around Ireland this calculation works well.

P.S. The number 35 is actually 35 mph. That will be your "average" speed.

I use the 35 number also and it comes out pretty close to actual time.
Achill to Waterford is a LONG days journey.
