driving route advice french alps/torino/grenoble

Hi I have 2 driving/travelling questions to ask.

1.we are driving from Morzine to Torino in a rental car in early September. Scenic route suggestions? things to avoid? We will be back in the French Alps for skiing in January/February and hope to see some possible towns to seek rentals.
We would like to get out, stretch our legs and eat (teenagers will require regular feeding). We will be visiting friends there for 2 nights then heading to Grenoble to see other friends.

2. From Torino to Grenoble? We may have a bit more time to stop - perhaps do a short hike somewhere where we can safely leave car with bikes on it - on this stretch. And, again, feed the teenagers. We see friends in Vif for one night then head down to Beziers area - I will post separately for suggestions for that.

Thank-you!

You can use http://www.viamichelin.fr/ and specify that you want the scenic route.

thanks Michael. I have looked at Via Michelin. As far as I have found it provides lots of directional information but not much detail in terms of suggested scenic stops - even when you input scenic route. I was hoping to get some feedback from people who have driven a route they loved or eaten at a restaurant along the way they loved. We will be travelling with our dog so welcome any suggestions for places to stretch our legs and eat at an outdoor cafe where we can tie up the doggie out of the hot sun.
