Hi,
driving time will be about 4 hours. It's a nice and comfortable, because you will drive a highway most of the time.
From München to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then direction to Innsbruck, take the Brenner-Autobahn, and keep the small Brenner-Straße for the way back.
You have to pay for the highway in Austria and Italy, make shure, that you have the "Pickerl" in Austria. In Italy you can pay with your credit-card.
Breaks: Brenner-Pass, Bolzano, Trento or along the way through the Etschtal.
For the Lake Garda take the exit "Rovereto sud" for the northern part (Torbole, Malcesine, Riva)
Have a nice trip
