driving from Zurich to Colmar in the end of august
Hi everyone,
Need your advice!!!! In few weeks we are driving from Zurich to Colmar. Never been in this area. Thinking about going thru Basel or Black Forest..... Please help!!! any thoughts..

. Leaving Zurich early morning and want to be in Colmar around 2-3. Just wondering - is it enough time to stop somewhere in Black Forest to have cap of coffee with Black Forest cake and see locals shops .....

If it must be Black Forest, you may check:
Zurich - motorway - Geisingen - Bundessstrasse 31 - Titisee - Freiburg - Breisach - Colmar
or
Zurich - Waldshut - Schluchsee - Titisee - Freiburg - Breisach - Colmar.
The visit of the gems along the direct itinerary via Kaiseraugst (roman theatre) - Basle - Mulhouse - Ecomusee d'Alsace would need more than a whole day. Similar for those along the Black forest itineraries.
