Driving from Nice to Genoa

Hello,

We will spend a weekend at Nice in December, would like take a day trip to Genoa through driving, is it possible?

Thanks in advance,
Henry

Sure - - it takes about two hours.

The famous road of endless tunnels (154 of 'em in all) from Nice to Livorno/Pisa passes right through Genoa.
About 60 or 70 of the tunnels are between Nice and Genoa - - including one right before the exit into the city of Genoa. That great bridge over the Genoa harbor is right after that exit in case you want to drive over and drive back, just for the ride.

Despite all the tunnels, the highway is first class, and carries traffic fluidly at a very fast pace. Drive like the Italians at 150+ kph - - or stay in the right lane and drive like you are used to in America (assuming you are from America).
