driving from Lyon to Loire Valley

We are planning to drive from Lyon to Blois in one day during June and would like to visit the following three attractions, the wine town of Beaune, the cathedrasl at Vezelay and Bourges. If we leave Lyon at 8 in the morning, can we make it to Bourges by 4 in the afternoon? Thank you very much for your response.

I am sure that it would be possible but you won't have time to see much. Bourges is worth several hours just to have a fairly superficial look around - don't miss a walk through the marais if it is fine. Similarly, you would want an hour minimum at Vezelay, and you would need an hour in Beaumes just to see the Hotel Dieu. If you can do it, I would definitely take 2 days at least.
Greg

Yiumo,
I hope you're planning a break in Lyon before moving on to Blois after driving 600km from Nice to Lyon. Lyon to Blois is close to another 600km, a lot of driving in two consecutive days. Check www.euroshell.com for mileage and time. Greg is quite right in suggesting two days for this leg of your journey.
