Driving from Cork to Belfast

We are looking for a scenic route to take on this journey? Any recommendations. We prefer not to drive through Dublin.

Thank you,
Shelley

Are you planning to do this in one day or as a trip with at least one overnight. Hell of a drive for one day with sightseeing.

Yes, we did plan on driving straight through. But, if you have a different suggestions we are open.

You can do it straight in a day, probably 5 or 6 hours for a non native depending on traffic. Take the M8 to the M50 Dublin ring and up.

Scenic routes would depend on your interests as there are so many. Sticking to the Main route you pass Cahir and Cashel, The National Stud/Japanese gardens. Newgrange and other places unknown to me between there and Belfast.
