driving from cannes to geneva
 
what is a good route between southern france around cannes to Geneva.
We will driving in Dec?
Will the roads in Switzerland be Bad this time of year? Also how long will it take

The mountain passes are beginning to close, but if the weather is nice, I would recommend driving into Italy and taking the road through the Mercantour out of Ventimiglia, which has some of the most spectacular scenery in that part of France. And then improvize from there!

You could take the "Route Napoleon" (RN85) from Grenoble to Cannes via Gap and Sisteron.
