Hi elyse,

Go to www,mappy.com and to www.viamichelin.com.

They sometimes offer different routes.

Yes - first, you take the ferry to England, then down the east coast and cross the channel to Calais......

Seems to me one popular way which we did a year ago would be starting in Copenhagen, taking the overnight ferry (with wonderful smorgasbord) to Oslo, boarding the scenic Norway in a Nutshell train-fjord cruise-bus to Bergen. But you probably know about this anyway.

We enjoyed all three places for several days, especially Bergen.

Driving from Oslo to Bergen takes app. 8 hours driving road no. 7 over the high mountain plateau Hardagervidda. Before heading down to Eidfjord I recommend a stop at Vøringsfossen, the most known waterfall in Norway. The water is used at the Hydroelectric power plant but is let loose in summer. There will always be a rainbow over the falls if sunny. The best views are from the Hotel on top. The road down the valley runs partly in a tunnel but I would recommend walking the old road down or take the touristy troll-train (train runs 1.june-31.aug). One can drive down with the car and pick the rest up on the other side of the tunnel. The tunnel opened in 1986.

I guess one full day in Bergen is enough. From Bergen you can drive to Kristiansand and take the 2-3 hour ferry to Hirtshals the northern part of Denmark. To get to Kristiansand either follow the coast road or drive the Hardangerfjord followed by Setesdal valley. I guess it would be appr. 8 hours, but don't quote me. It is faster to drive in Denmark and getting from Hirtshals to Copenhagen would probably take 5 hours.
