Driving April
 
Thank you very much for your previous advice. My boyfriend loves the spontaneity of driving, being able to stop and explore at whim; also, he drives a train in NYC, so he would prefer to drive. Can you give me specific pros and cons about driving in April, so we can decide. we've driven in Switzerland in June previously. Thank you.

Sorry, I'm talking about visiting small towns in Switzerland. We will have 8 nights.

If you drove in Switzerland in June then you will have no trouble in April...easy to drive in that country. Parking is harder than driving.
