Driver in Naples

We are spending a day in Naples during a cruise ship stop in June. Looking for a driver and car to take us down to Positano area for the day. Anyone have experience with a good company or individual? Thanks.

Why don't you go by hydrofoil? It's quicker ... and much cheaper.

It leaves at 08.50 from Molo Beverello and takes an hour to Positano.
Fare is approx. EURO 8.00 each way.

If you prefer a car, others who have had good reviews here are:
www.tourofitaly.com (G. Gargiulo)
www.seesorrento.com (M. Maresca)

Hope this helps ...

Heres another vote for Positano Car Service. We used them on our honeymoon in April from Naples to Positano and back with a stop in Pompeii. We really liked Nicholas who spoke good English, had a great personality and told entertaining stories during the 1.5 hour drive. Cost was 100e if direct and 170e with the 2 hour stop in Pompeii. Nice cars - white mercedes with Taxi on top.

My vote is for a boat trip up the coast. Spectacular views at a tiny fraction of the cost. Enjoy.

I highly recommend the Gargiulos who can be reached via e-mail at tourofitaly.com.
We will be using them again this summer, and are very much looking forward to it since the time we spent with them two years ago ( day trips and pickup from Naples airport) was one of the highlights of our trip.
Good luck and have a great time!
