Driver for day tour from Bath please

I have purchased 2 tickets from English Heritage for the Stonehenge sunrise inner circle access for Sept 20, 2025. I am looking for a private driver to take my wife and I to the site from our hotel in Bath. In addition, after some time at Stonehenge, we would like to go visit Avebury and surrounding neolithic sites, with the same driver. We prefer a private driver rather than a group tour scenario. Any suggested contacts would be appreciated

Your hotel can surely arrange a car and driver

ditto. Ask your hotel. Be prepared to pay quite a bit because you will likely need to book a driver for the entire day + meals

We contacted our hotel. They made a few recommendations. We contacted the suggested drivers with no response.

Try contacting tourist information in Bath. Someone there must know someone!

I'm not sure if this company can do what you would like but it's worth contacting them.

In the Footsteps
I arranged my trip with "Jo".

Last year I took a Normandy tour and then a train to London to see the Churchill War Rooms. (They closed early on my last day of my previous visit to London.)
I wanted to go from London to Bletchley Park and didn't want to drive myself. Jo arranged a driver for me for the day. I very much enjoyed the excursion.

Checking their website, they have a mix of tours, from battlefield to heritage tours to family history tours. They probably can do what you are interested in.

They are based in Herefordshire, closer to Bath than London. It's worth contacting them. Jo was very easy to work with.

I also agree with the others that contacting the hotel for recommendations is another good idea.

Just an aside - Jo said the guide/driver would be willing to add in another stop since Althorp (originally listed) was closed. By that time, I was not interested in another battlefield or war stop. As we chatted, we decided on a small village with a stop at a pub. That afternoon stop was delightful. I ducked into a china shop (and my driver/guide came in and found something too). Then a stop at a pub for a while. We talked to locals and I got to meet some friendly pups. By that time, I was really missing my dogs at home. That mid-afternoon pub stop was one of my favorite things on the trip.

The pub stop. Photos taken with permission. The nice couple sitting at the front window had two pups with them. On the other side of the pub was a schnauzer that looked so much like mine at home.
