Steve - I posted a new thread a few days ago but haven't seen it since. In case it's gone I wanted to say thanks again for your tips - they got me started in the right direction. Had a great time in Castelrotto, could have easily stayed much longer, except for the fact I live under US vacation rules. Menaggio was a nice change of pace at the end, but the Dolomites were definitely what I was looking for. Hiked Alpe di Siusi one day, did your recommended short tour the second day (including Lake Carezza), and hiked the Sella Pass the third day. George
