A honeymoon in December in Tuscany would depress me. There's nothing like a cold, wet, isolated countryside to turn your new hubby into Jack Torrance (ie: Jack Nicholson in The Shining). Tuscany at its best is all about bright, sensual colors. Tuscan colors in December are not all that pretty. It's the only time of year when Tuscany looks a lot like Umbria.

Paris in December is fabulous, even if it rains, especially if it snows. Much like NYC in December, the Christmas spirit makes a visit that much more special. If you're Jewish, have you considered Florida? Florida can be fabulous in December.
