Drinks in Spain

I do not drink alcohol. Would appreciate suggestions for alternative beverages to accompany tapas or meals in restaurants.
Thank you

Water, Fanta de Limon, and Nestea iced tea.

I do not drink either and there is also Coke and bottled water. They will ask "Sin or con gas?" Sin means not carbonated. Also some places will have cider.

Cider in Spain can have alcohol in it. Best to be careful when ordering it if you don't drink alcohol..

"Granizados" - refreshing beverage prepared with crushed ice and fruit juice, coffee or other drinks or ingredients such as syrups or essences.

Yes, granizados would be the best with tapas.
or tea. Or sangria.

I prefer non-sweet drinks with tapas.
Alcohol-free beer (cerveza sin alcohol) is available at any bar.

Cider is Sidra in Spain.
You can get wine and beer ask for "sin alcohol"
Water is usually bottled and come "el tempo" (room temperature) or "frío" from a fridge. Tap water* may be available, but I personally feel it is over chlorinated in Spain.
* Note some restaurants do not like to serve tap water.
You can also ask for a cocktail without alcohol."Cócteles sin alcohol"

Whatever you drink at home will be available in Spain.

Mosto, "grape juice, but not the sickly sweet purple stuff you get in the U.S. A much lighter drink and a good non-alcoholic alternative to wine." http://eslhell-thepaininspain.blogsp...-in-spain.html

I don't drink alcohol (shudders)

Water leaps to mind
Sin means "without" so without gas or without alcohol as above
I happily drink water from the tap or a jug on the table, bottled water is just a crazy concept best avoided
Nestles iced tea is not too bad as long as you don't mind giving the Nestle company money and you don't mind the sugar (see also Coke/Fanta etc)
I like blood orange juice and certainly fresh orange juice is easy to get
I also drink tea, and even Camomille tea (relatively easy to find is worth a shot)
Sidra as above is alcoholic (only the US/Canada use "cider" to mean non-alcohol)

kimhe's advice is normally great on Spain, see above
