Aix en Provence TGV station picnic supplies?
Most European train stations I have used have had pretty decent sources for food to take on the train. Evidence so far is that this station may not. I am aware the station is a distance from town. Anybody familiar with the station?
If not, we will pick up supplies in Aix before we leave.

We were there last Oct. We purchased sandwiches in Aix to take on the train - dragged them around all day - got to the station and there was the exact same franchise, Paul, as where we had purchased our now soggy baguettes in the morning. There will be some lovely choices for sale at the station!

We were just in Aix this past weekend.
Essentially the TER station is closed for now. I forgot to ask why. The TGV station is quite a distance away.
There are various stores just above the Cours. No problem there. Two Boulageries on Rue l'Espariat and others as you get up to Hotel de Ville.
Just to let you know. Aix from the main fountains all the way down to the Gare Routiere bus station is a construction zone. I believe it's Ave des Belges. Only one side of the road is open.
And at the other end of the Cours going north there's also road construction.
