Dressing for 3 Star dining in Paris

Would it be appropriate for a woman to wear a dressy (i.e. pale green silk shantung) pantsuit to dinner at a luxury restaurant in Paris?

<BR>Normally a silk pantsuit would be appropriate, but I would hesitate to wear pale green to a 3-Star restaurant. There are still too many political implications with that color. Stick with black or red.

Sounds lovely and absolutely appropriate.

What are the political implications of pale green?
