Funny, I've never seen anyone in California eat fries at a performing arts event....not even a rock concert! And I've been to A LOT of events! I wonder where that happens....? I don't think they're even sold at most venues....maybe the circus? Or perhaps people desparate for their fry-fix sneak them in their purses ;-)

Slopugs- I agree with you. I've never seen any such thing and I've lived in L.A. area since the mid 60s, having moved down from the Santa Barbara area as a child. Happy Travels!
