I'm leaving May 14th. I have an accommodation through June 12th. I will be looking for a long-term (one year) apartment during that time.

If anyone has suggestions, comments, etc., please chime in. I will be looking for a one-bedroom near transportation. I'd like to keep my rent at/below $1200 a month. So, it is obvious I will not be living in city center.

I was thinking Montevecchio, but I'm open to suggestions. If you have lived in Rome and/or know the neighborhoods well, I'm interested in anything you can add that might ease/assist my search. :)
