Dream a little Dream.....

Japanese Toy Makers say that they have invented a toy that allows you to choose what you will dream about.
What will you choose?

HeatherH Jul 2nd, 2004 11:59 AM

Hmmm - winning the lottery so that I am free to travel endlessly through Europe (then beyond) with the one I love.

Corny but true!

And Scarlett - don't forget to tell us your chosen dream!

mamc Jul 2nd, 2004 12:06 PM

Just before my alarm went off this morning, I was dreaming of a school of dolphins swimming by - that is much better than anything I would have chosen if it had been left to me.

cigalechanta Jul 2nd, 2004 12:11 PM

My dreams are like a lottery. Never know if it's a winner til I'm there,

sheila Jul 2nd, 2004 12:16 PM

Airlawgirl, y'all have a nice weekend now:)

Croque_Madame Jul 2nd, 2004 12:17 PM

Konnichiwa, Scarlett.

Disregard the two tanuki's here.

Croque_Madame Jul 2nd, 2004 12:36 PM

Airlawgirl: Two words. Don't bother.

Scarlett Jul 2nd, 2004 12:39 PM

Airlawgirl,

You have posted 4 times so far on this nonsense thread.

Have a good trip, and I hope it is a very long trip. You do not bring anything pleasant with you when you are here.

If I were to dream a dream that I could choose:
The first half of the Trip (mkingdom) would be to Japan, where one of my children lives , happily with all those lovely gentle Japanese people, who would not dream of being as rude as you and Airperson.

Then I would take that child with us on the flight to Italy where our other child would join us .
And so the months would go by, traveling wherever we wish, seeing all the countries I just dream about now~

Have a good day, and sweet dreams ((F))

Ta, Airlawgirl, ta! So glad you could spare a few moments of your precious time to grace us with your presence before tata-ing off....bless your heart! ;)

sheila Jul 2nd, 2004 12:51 PM

Airlawgairl, they don't let you into Bannermans with a bad attitude.

Lighten up, girl

Scarlett Jul 2nd, 2004 12:53 PM

I call it Topping, Thanks :)

Scarlett...can we chose NOT to have a dream? I have one that plays about twice a year and it's actually travel related. I'm in a 777 or like, flying down the street of some major city, the plane following the street between the skyscrapers, the wings narrowly missing the buildings on either side. He can't gain altitude and we fly at a level midway up the building. I have no idea how it ends as it always wakes me up! Yikes...can we remove it from my Play List? :D

I too would dream of Italy and the endless places that I'd love to explore at length. What a nice twist to this board. Frankly, I'm tired of reading questions that have been asked and addressed countless times on this site. Airlawgirl, if you would expend the same amount of energy saying something nice on this board OR restraining yourself from posting as you did, 5 times, with your noxious posts this thread would be a better place. Go haunt something you deem more appropriate to this board and leave the rest of us to bask a little bit in an imagined Eden.

Tanuki: creatures of folklore. Racoon-dogs with huge bellies and gigantic testicles who roam the forests drinking sake and trying to pass themselves off as persons of nobility.

My dream: a tanuki muzzle for use here on Fodors.

BTilke Jul 2nd, 2004 01:40 PM

Remember the movie "Until the End of the World"? (Jusqu'au bout du Monde) where one of the characters had developed a way to record your dreams and watch them later?
I guess I'd dream about going back to 1979/80 when I was young and thin. And in that dream, I would NOT participate in the 48 hour dance marathon that gave me a knee injury that still bugs me today...

OO Jul 2nd, 2004 01:44 PM

Croque...Perhaps Airlawgirl has left to locate a pet tanuki at Deyrolle? :D You know how people often resemble their dogs and all...

cigalechanta Jul 2nd, 2004 01:53 PM

Wishing everyone a happy fourth and may all your welcomed dreams come true.

Air girl, you need redemption.

coccinelle Jul 2nd, 2004 01:59 PM

This airlawgirl appears to be a friendless person as far as I can tell by her all negative posts.
Why do some posters get annoyed at others having fun? She is not an old poster so maybe she doesn't know that in slow periods ,we create these unimportant topics. Now back to baking brownies to send to my friends here.

My dream would be that my wonderful hubby and I have would be able to take five years off work and do nothing but see the world. Every single city in this vast and wonderful universe of ours, experiencing every culture of the globe before returning home, and hopefully making a difference in the lives of others before we return.
