Down to 2 Athens hotel choices - please vote!
 

Okay, due to your excellent help in recommending hotels, I've reviewed a ton, checked availability at some, and am torn between 2 choices (and I realize it's not a life or death decision, they're probably both fine). But before I commit....

The choices are the Cypria and the Electra (NOT the Electra Palace). The Electra is a little more expensive and has a non-smoking floor. The Cypria does not have non-smoking rooms but says the rooms are 'aired' daily - I don't know how much weight to give to this factor. I can get a balcony at the Cypria.

Any thoughts? Flip a coin?

Cypria. Haven't stayed at Electra but Cypria's room did not smell the least of smoke (and I'm very sensitive).

The Cypria was my gut choice, and I'm thrilled to hear that smoke didn't bother crckwc1. So far it's 3-0 for the Cypria, and I'll probably go ahead and book online (cheaper) at lunchtime, and then email them about the particulars of the room afterwards.

Done! I booked online to save 10% and then used that money to upgrade to a superior room. Thanks everyone.
