I am not very good with the trip reporting, but I will try. I have read yours and believe me mine really pale in comparison.

We have friends in Lisbon and it is too long not seeing them. The problem is that this trip is only 15 days ( our 5 th). We plan to spend most of the time on the coast, in Porto and the Douro. But we always end in LIsbon. We never go to the Algarve but have been as far South as the Alentejo coast near Comporta.

I could easily spend two months or more.

Happy travels

We postponed our trip twice already, and are hoping to get there next spring (late March, early April). Quinta das Lagrimas was our choice then, and will be again whenever we get to Portugal. We had originally planned a few days in the Douro Valley, but I think for March we will change that to a few days in the Algarve region. We are not beach people, but the scenery there looks amazing. Maitaitom, I hope both of us get to Portugal soon.
