dose anyone know where is the train station in Genoa, italy?
 

Hello to all,
i am going to be staying in santa margherita ligure, for a few days, and then plan to take the train to Genoa, and connect there to the Genoa airport for my return home. dose anyone know how far is the Genoa train station from the Genoa airport? please help.

There are two train stations in genoa, Brignole and Principe.

I believe there is bus service between Brignole (and possibly Principe) and the Genoa airport which is about 7 Km out.

Your train may very well arrive at Principe; I am sure others will comment further.

Hi Jenny - The Airport Shuttle Volabus service leaves hourly from Piazza Principe Station - journey time: approx. 20 mins
Fare: € 4.

There are actually 12 train stations in Genoa, with 2 main train stations located in the center of Genoa.

I took a bus from Brignole to the airport, but now I don't seem to find the info for that bus route on the website that Steve has given. Maybe it's best to take a train all the way to Principe, rather than getting off at Brignole. Then take the bus from Principe since it is sure to run from there.

Otherwise, take a taxi from Brignole or Principe. That's what I usually ended up doing. I actually took a taxi from Genoa Nervi where I used to live, and it wasn't too expensive and much more comfortable than the bus. I only took the bus once.
