Correct, although there is a train, probably the one going to Bordeaux, that allows a transfer in Angoulême and plus another one in Limoges. I would prefer to take the RER B & C (49 min. according to the RATP (Paris métro) site) to the gare d'Austerlitz. I would not like driving out of Bordeaux from the train station after an overnight flight.
