Domestic TA Flights

I have made reservations for two domestic flights within Turkey via Turkish Air's website. I understand that I can get their internet rate only if I purchase the tickets in Turkey when I arrive there. Does anyone have success with this? If I pay for the flight in the US now, its 50% more expensive. I just don't want to arrive in Turkey without flight arrangements.

If I were you I would buy ticket from CONSOLIDATOR, then you can get better price then THY.

I booked my flights on-line to purchase them in Turkey (at Turkish price which is 50% discount to US). The system gave me a purchase limit date by which I will already be in Turkey. When I get in, I will go to the Turkish counter and pay for my tickets. Hopefully it will work

Buying tickets in Turkey are a lot cheaper. You dont even need an advance reservation. Just walk up to the turkish airlines counter and buy your tickets. Alternatively, consolidators in turkey might have better options

Thanks for your replies. I plan to pay for the reservation in Turkey in order to obtain the lower fares. Hopefully all will work out.
