Doing Laundry in Munich - Need Help!
Hubby and I are leaving for a two-week Germany trip on Tuesday. We can't pack enough clothing for that length of time, so we will need to do laundry. Judging by US hotels offering laundry services, that can get expensive very quickly, so I don't think I want to go that route. Our visit to Munich is roughly 1/2 way through our trip, so we think want to do laundry there. I found some laundromats by googling, but I can't find any specific info on how late they're open.
Does anyone have any experience or advice on doing laundry on trips, specifically in Germany? |

Most are open until 11pm or midnight, a few 24/7 |
Yea, that's what I wanted to hear! Thanks! :o)

We saw some full service laundry places near the train station, so if you don't want to spend time doing the laundry yourself but don't want to pay hotel prices, that may be a good option.

Rick Steve's books are good for this type or info. I have an older version that list a CB Waschcenter at Paul Heyse Straße 21 near the train station, perhaps the same mentioned by november-moon.
Lonely planet lists the one above and Der Wunderbare Waschsalon at Theresienstrasse 134. Regards, Gary |
