Does this itinerary work and make sense? Help!

OK, so I've read through tons of posts and have read a bunch of wonderful information. Now, I'm hoping to get some suggestions based on what I have come up with for a plan.
My cousin and I, two females will be traveling to Ireland in September. Landing in Shannon and departing from Dublin. We don't have anything specific we want to see. We want to visit some pubs, chat with locals, soak up the culture and enjoy the atmosphere.
Here is what we were thinking...

Day 1 - Fri - Land in Shannon at 6:00AM -Rent a car - Bunratty Castle and then head to Doolin to stay overnight

Day 2 - Sat - Cliffs of Moher - stay overnight in Doolin

Day 3 - Sun - head to Galway (not sure what to do yet) - overnight in Galway

Day 4 - Mon - Galway (ideas on what to do?) - overnight in Galway

Day 5 - Tues - Drive to Wicklow - overnight (Wicklow? Enniskerry?)

Day 6 - Wed - Enniskerry - overnight Enniskerry

Day 7 - Thurs - Head to Dublin (Drop of rental car) overnight in Dublin

Day 8 - Fri - Dublin

Day 9 - Sat - Dublin

Day 10 - Sun - Depart from Dublin airport at 4:00PM

(Days 5 -7 are up in the air... wasn't exactly sure what would be the best option for these days.)

Any suggestions on our plan would be greatly appreciated!!! :)

Do you not wish to see Dingle or Ring of Kerry, south of Shannon?

Hi Sassafrass. I am not against those sites at all. However, since we only have 9 days in Ireland I didn't want to be all over the place and feel completely rushed.

Do you suggest those instead of the Cliffs of Moher/Galway areas?

Thanks!

I really enjoyed my time in Galway. If you are in that part of Ireland, make time for Connemara and the Aran Islands.

Best part of Ireland imo weather permitting.
The west coast of Galway is beautiful and would explore Cong, Clifton and area before Dingle. The Wicklow coast is nice also. I love Dublin.

On Day 2 you might check out the Doolin Cave if you are interested in such.

Maybe a Hawk Walk at Ashford Castle.
