Does the UK have the same requirements as TSA?
 

Haven't been to the UK in several years and wondering what to expect when going through Security? Do they follow the same guidelines as TSA? I'm particularly concerned about medicines. I use Restasis prescription drops for dry eyes, and it would be impossible to put 12 days worth in a 311 bag.

Are you flying to the UK, or planning to pass through security at a UK airport with your supply of air drops?

If you are traveling to the UK out of the US then you'll need to follow TSA rules. Airport security for flights to the UK or any other foreign destination out of a US airport are not treated any differently than a domestic flights - all passengers go through the same TSA checkpoints....

If you are passing through security at a UK airport then your question is valid.

I can only say that UK security was formidable, much tougher than the U.S. version.

Medications are generally accepted in carry on bags in addition to the 3-1-1 limits, as described in the link heti provided above. Just be sure to have ether a copy of the prescription from your provider or at least have the medication with a pharmacy label that includes all pertinent info - medication, prescriber name, dosage and instructions for use.
