does Rome have a rainy season?
 

Does anyone know if Rome typically has a "rainy season" or not? if so, it is April?

The rainiest months in Rome are October, November, December and January. But it's not like "rainy season" in parts of Asia.

April in Rome can be anything - from first day of scorching hot weather into 80s and 90s, or wet, windy, cold and miserable. It's a kind of transition period in the Mediterranean region between wet, unpredicable winter/spring and hot, sunny summer. So it depends on luck what you'll get when you are there. This year, April was unseasonably cold and very wet, with almost constant grey sky. 2005 was beautifully sunny and warm.
