Does familiarity with Europe breed contempt?

Contempt for your fellow posters, that is. What a pathetic crew! Can't tell if you all are some arrogant Eurotravel cult or high school sophomores bored at midsummer. And if the two are indistinguishable, why seek advice here?

Don't you get it? These people who regualry post a criticism of everyone and everything have never BEEN anywhere, and have no knowledge of the subject. Don't understand your use of "contempt", but I, who have travelled extensively, think that Europe is pretty much like everywhere else, just different scenery, and the history of the place is what interests me. YEP, they are not really seeking advice..just want to be noticed.

Sandi, and don't forget the different food, and the wine!!

Disgusted, no familiarity DOESN'T breed contempt--the more I go the more I love it. As to sophomoric remarks...well, they speak for themselves. 'Nuf said.
