What's with posts that answer their own questions?

Huh? I mean that I think there was a post here on this forum. it referred to an article published somewhere. And the subject was this Fodors forum.<BR><BR>But i don't remember what that thread was nor how to find it again.<BR><BR>

it may be that thread titled something like: How did you first hear of the Fodors forum?<BR><BR>search on the word "compuserve" and it will be near the top of results

You talkin bout a post or sumthin talkin bout an article talkin bout this forum published somewhere round here or what?

there was an article several months ago in the NY Times travel section.

Didn't someone in the UK ask us to answer some survey questions and then use some of the answers in a newspaper article? Seems like it was quite a while ago and then he came back with a URL to see the article. Sorry but I can't remember who or when.
