Does anyone know what time the terror alert was raised?

I am in CA. Just wondering if my OD got out of Frankfurt BEFORE the sh** hit the fan, or after. If after, then they will arrive in Washington not knowing about any of this. I just thank God that their tour group was not scheduled to go through GB today. Small blessings. Big blessings, really...

And from what I am hearing, they shouldn't expect HUGE delays getting out of DC? Hope that is correct info.

So, help me here, would that be AFTER their flight left? I am thinking yes. Am I right? Wouldn't Germany be about an hour after GMT?

Uh... 0215 means 2:15 AM. If their flight left at 1:25 PM, that would be... lemme see... after? Unless it was yesterday that they left, in which case... just guessing here...

you are right Gardyloo. I am getting so confused on the flight times. That would be pm before the am. So they will land knowing nothing of what is going on. Guess they will get up to speed quickly enough...and get rid of their shampoo and mouthwash. And razors, and...As long as it stops those terrorist A-holes, I don't care what I have to do to keep things going. F-um anyway.

This story was all that was on the news at 8am this morning in London, so the fan-hitting in Germany will have happened well before 1.25

The FIRST reports appeared 15 minutes before I made the posting "Hand Luggage Banned On UK Flights"

That I know of the "problems" didn;t necessarily affect flights coming to the US from countries other than the UK...is that correct?

If their flight left at 1:25 PM Germany time that is 6 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time.

Yes, oldest daughter. YS, youngest son. OS oldest son. YD, young or youngest daughter. Where I learned this I don't really know. Is there a resource book for this?

So, here is the story, the news was starting to hit when they left the airport in Frankfurt, but it had not effected security or changed any procedure yet...
