Do you recommend SkyEurope?
Would really like to hear that Skyeurope is worth the gamble....I've already searched the airlines forum but found nothing.
Here's the situation: As we have 6 nights after visiting Rome, then Venice, we are thinking of flying (round trip) to Budapest or Bratislava/ Vienna with SkyEurope, whose fares are exceptional. The baggage limit is more than generous -- 20 kg. Has anyone used this carrier? If they're dodgy we would probably take the train to Vienna, using the trenitalia 29 euros special for the (8 hour) trip through the mountains. But we've already done that twice. |
I used them to fly from Manchester to Krakow between Christmas and New year. The flights were right on time and had sufficient leg room. Food isn't included but there is a trolley service on board. I'd use them again.

Thanks -- I will await other replies but am inclining toward trying out this airline....

I too have used SkyEurope and got to my destination safely on time and in comfort. What more can we ask? My flight was Krakow to Rome in April 2005. Unlike Easy Jet they don't charge for water, coffee and tea. This has come up here on the Europe forum before.

We used them for a RT Paris-Budapest with no problem.

Used them for Milan to Krakow and would use them again. No problems at all.

Hi I have used them between London and Warsaw and they were fine - nothing fancy but what you would expect from a budget airline. Go for it

I have used Sky Europe from Budapest to many destinations. Very good, reliable, nice aircraft.
OK, so you get nothing to eat, but in my opinion, that's no great tragedy, after all you don't choose an airline for their food. |
