Do you recommend a walking tour of Trogir

While my husband and I are in Split we would like to visit Trogir. I notice that we can arrange a 90 minute walking tour of the town for a very reasonable price but I wasn't sure this would be necessary as opposed to wandering (and taking photos, my husband's favorite activity on a trip). Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

A guide would be worthwhile.

Thanks for the quick reply

And for a very much belated reply -- no. Get a decent guidebook and go on your own, unless (of course) you have a strong preference for working with guides.

We ended up wandering the town on our own which worked out very well. What a charming place.

I did the same thing - wandered Trogir on my own, and that worked great for me too. It's small but charming, especially at night.

Unfortunately, we were only there during the day but I can see that it must be lovely at night. The view from the top of the bell tower and the color of the water was amazing.
