Do You need Airconditioned Rooms in Venice in June?
I am getting ready to book rooms overlooking the Grand Canal in Venice in late June. We are considering:
Locando Leon Bianco
Locando Sturion
Hotel Rialto

Locando Leon Bianco does not have airconditioning. Would you recommend this for late June in Venice? Any other thoughts on which of the three to choose?

just stayed at hotel rialto last week...location is great and ac is adequate but the noise could be bothersome if you are a light sleeper..
we needed ac last week so i can only assume that you need it likewise for june..

we walked by a hotel called hotel belle arti and it seems to have a nice garden..

Hi Jan,
You may need the A/C just to get the moisture out of the air in your room, not necessarily to cool it. (Otherwise, you'll emerge from the shower & just continue to feel like you're still in it!)

My favorite place in Venice is Locanda Sturion, I place I'd sometimes go for school holidays when I was a student in Florence. It's also near the Rialto Bridge, but I found the location to be very convenient & always enjoyed staying there.

Buon Viaggio,
BC

I was in Venice in mid-June several years ago and I did not need the A/C. However, had I had it, it would have been great to keep the fleas and mosquitoes out!

Another year, I arrived in Venice in late June and felt that I had not left south Georgia (low 90's, high humidity).

So if you get the chance to stay in a hotel with air conditioning, go for it!
