Do you like the ambiance or yourself in it?

Tammy, whether you want to believe it or not, you sound fixated on yourself, which isn't attractive or healthy at all. Why not just stay at home and look at your beautiful self in themirror all day? spare the world, darling.

I like the idea of me being where I am when I am there, or if I am not there, I like the idea that I should be there. If I think I am there, I usually am, unless I haven't left yet, then I start planning to be there.
Is that perfectly clear?

The only thing that is not clear is why you bothered to drag up this old post. Are we that desperate for humor?

for me, when I am in Provence, I feel at home, tho I know It will never be my hom.
At first I always stayed at a certain hotel and when I mentioned that hotel several times, this nasty female, worded poster suggested I was a shill for it, but no matter I still love my Provence.

mimi, I know what you mean, I read that post...but I do the same thing If I love a hotel, I tout it all the time!
When we are in Paris,*at the D'Angleterre* I love to buy pastries, walk over to the Luxembourg Gardens, pretend that I am going back to my flat rather than a hotel room..that I live there.
I am seeing myself there. That way I am seeing the sights. And I like to see myself seeing myself there,LOL~

Good one, Scarlett, I like the way you travel.
Marilyn, you scrolled all the way through the post just to say why bring it up?

I brought it up because I thought it was interesting and was wondering how many people get it.

Actually, nocinonut, I thought it was an interesting "header" so I began reading it. Then I realized it was quite old so I zipped to the bottom to find out why it was pulled up. Your post that topped it made me chuckle, so I couldn't resist a smart-ass response.

Seriously, I noticed you topped another old thread. Are you among those who think the forum has gotten dull since registration?

Hi Marilyn,
Could I answer that question also?
I think the forums have become more careful. While some may post interesting or controversial threads (Hiroshi) others are still aware of now posting under their own "identity" and have to accept responsibility for their remarks now.
I wish there were more funny threads though, I enjoyed the silly ones. Sometimes, on a rainy day like this, a good Girl in the Red Dress with a Pup thread could be a hoot.
