Do you know this place on Tuscan coast?

Some years ago we travelled by train from Paris to Rome halting for a couple of hours at Pisa.I think we took a train from Pisa to Rome between 9 and 10 in the morning.I distinctly remember a beautiful little rail station about an hour or so from Pisa on the coast with tall silver oak like trees on one side. Can anyone relate to this place? Our son is on a backpack trip to Italy and I would like him to spend a few days at the lovely plce I saw.
