Do you know a driver to take us Paris-Reims-Paris all day?
 

When our party of four adds up the train tickets, cabs to/from Gare d'Est and around Reims all day in a couple of weeks, it seems like it might be worth hiring a driver. Need to assume walking won't work due to weather. Don't want to rent a car- -done that before. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Good, I think you'll be happy with him. I think I was referred by someone on the Internet, but don't recall anymore. I've used him several times for airport pick-ups and drop-offs. Once he wasn't available and sent another man, also quite nice and interesting.

The last time he was supposed to pick me up I was tied up with missing luggage reports, my cellphone wasn't working, and I didn't get out until over an hour after I was supposed to; naturally he had left. I called to apologize, but if you use him, please tender my apologies again and tell him you're my make up offering! LOL

As for the number, it's the same number, but when you call from outside France you drop the first '0', and of course have to add the international code '011' from the US, and the country code for France '33'.

If you call him when you are in France you just add the '0' at the beginning and don't worry about the other preceding codes.

Pardon my inquiry, but we are planning a similar venture in March and curious about the price range he charges for a day with four adults, from Paris and return.

Thanks, Shellio, for this and replies to my other post. Will send Jean Marie your message. He quoted 600 EUR for 8 am pick up, 6pm drop off, 4 adults. Other limo company was about 750 EUR, hotel quoted over 1000 EUR.
