Do we now have to log in at Fodor's?
I've put this in the News From Fodor's thread but I wanted to give it it's own title as well, so I get the most responses:
Is it just me or is everyone having to log in every time now. Since yesterday (Oct 1) I've had to log in both times that I've come on board. There's a 'remember my password' function but I always have to put my screen name in before I can get to the threads.
Has something changed with the website or is it just something with my server or what?

It went down about 10:30 PDT last night and didn't really work right until this morning.
there were all sorts of little glitches related to different parts of the log-in.
For instance I showed as logged in on the main fodors home page but when I got into a talk forum I wasn't. And when I did try to log in it sent me the wrong security question.
But I could tell almost no one else could get on either -- there were 30min to 2 hour gaps between posts -- I just waited until this a.m. and all seems well.
Someone over on the USA board thought he had been banned because he couldn't get on.

I've stayed logged on for two days with no problem. Even after closing my browser and shutting down my system.
When you log in Windows will ask if you want your system to remember your password. I just click yes and never have to log in again when I open Fodors.

Phew, thought it was just me. I tried to answer a post yesterday and it kept asking me to log in. But even after I did, I still couldn't post a reply. Just testing now to see if this works. Still had to log on this morning.

Wouldn't let me preview my post just now. Had to use the 'back' key to retrieve my message. After two tries to preview, just gave up and hit post and it worked. We'll see what happens with this one!
