Do we need covid test to enter Spain from US OR to cross border into France?

We are flying from the US into Spain, then driving to France. We are fully vaccinated and have the QR code. It looks like we do not need a covid test but there is so much conflicting info available online including on official sites. Do we need a negative test? We will probably get one as a back up but what to ask if anyone definitively answer this?

Currently being vaccinated with a EU approved vaccine and two weeks time gets you into Spain with a QR code. Unfortunately COVID rules can change at any time. We just returned from Spain earlier this week on a trip that was supposed to be just Portugal. This morphed into the Basque Country and Bordeaux due to a uptick in Covid cases in Portugal and a weekend quarantine of Lisbon. During that time we saw police checkpoints instituted at major road routes into France from Spain and restrictions placed on flying from Portugal through Germany for our return flights. Be prepared to be flexible as France is warning against travel to Spain and Portugal and no one knows what the future will bring

This site gives a good overview of rules for several countries, and links to the country's own sites. Always check the country's own site before traveling, as rules change frequently.

France requires a pcr test even if you are vaccinated, when arriving from an 'orange' country.
Arrivals from a red country are 'essential travel only'.

I don't know how they apply that if you arrive in Spain and continue to France by car.
The classification of country colour codes changes weekly, so keep an eye on that.
