Do Paris Metro Tickets Expire?

I've discovered four unused Paris Metro tickets from our last trip in December 2008. My wife and I will be in Paris on October 1-3, 2009, and I'm wondering if these tickets will still be valid? I guess it wouldn't do any harm to just try them.

I recently found one from 2002! And I'm going back to Paris in a couple of weeks. I'm guessing that one won't work any longer...

I think I asked this question a while back and people said that the tickets never expire. But I guess I don't know for sure about the one for 2002. In my experience I've never had any issues with tickets that are a couple of months old.

I have metro tickets from various years and have always been able to use them when I go to pARIS-same with Rome!

No, ever since the tickets became magnetic strip tickets, they do not expire. Smart people who still use individual tickets stock up on them before every fare increase.
